I didn't do that many shots because it got incredibly chilly. I hope I can do a nice shoot this weekend. 

  I bought a mirror. It's hard to tell , but it is rather big and I struggled to carry it from the shop to my flat, which is not far at all. I absolutely love it, good value for money and I finally can use my fairy lights.

I've been searching for sulfate & silicone free hair products for awhile now. It was difficult to find sulfate free shampoo, but today's trip to Boots wasn't fruitless, I bought both shampoo and hair conditioner on a deal. Bril.

For my trip to Spain, I bought DK Eyewitness Pocket Map and Guide: Madrid. We going to be there for a very short time, but I hope to see a thing or two. I like DK Eyewitness guides, I have a small collection of them, I have used other guides but I didn't like their format as much as DK Eyewitness. I bought this one on Amazon, thank god for amazon prime or otherwise I would have to rely on print outs. I also could go to a bookshop, but I have no time and it's usually much more expensive.

I also bought a used copy of The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins. I have read it but I would like to read it a few times and I saw a used copy under £3 with prime delivery.

Speaking of books, I'm sure you have noticed I have posted about my project 52 lately, well the things with my time away and sickness I got very behind my schedule I decided to drop it. I will be  aiming to read more still, but I need a different system.

I bought a couple of H&M dresses online, I couldn't find them in the shop when I was in Brighton, so that was my only option.
I would love to say to you that I love them, but I haven't received them yet and it's been a week since I placed the order. I don't think I will be ordering anything again unless they change their delivery times to more acceptable 2-3 days.

I was planning to take them both to Spain, but estimated delivery for the white dress is 12th May and I'm not sure what happened to the blue dress, it was dispatched on 30th April. Not good enough H&M, not good enough.

For my birthday I got some money from my parents, they knew I wanted to get a watch, but rather than buying it for me, they thought to give me money so I can choose whatever I want. They wanted me to get something expensive, but I ended up buying something that's reasonably priced and that I like very much.

I've been looking at various watches, browsing Pinterest since the New Year, but I always ended up
at Olivia Burton.  I still struggled  to select one of them, if only I could get one in each colour...  I eventually opted for Big Dial Chrono in Black & Gold. It's an elegant, beautiful watch, even if I say so myself.

 It's  though a quite fun thing to have, some really good apps (Even though  my phone also has some good apps, I don't use them that much). Now I'm learning to play piano (well...), Spanish and I exercise using one the apps.

I've recently acquired "River Cottage Veg Everyday" for a very good price  via a book club that brings books to my workplace (£6.00!!).

I've seen a few episodes when it was on TV although considering it was a series about vegetarian food, he talked about meat & fish way too much but when I saw the book, the pretty pictures & the price tag seduced me.

In the introduction he states "so, to be absolutely clear, all the recipes that follow are suitable for vegetarians". And when the very first recipe contains Parmesan (quite a few recipes throughout a book actually).

Rather disappointing but I guess it's because it is written by a carnivore for other carnivores who interested in eating more vegetarian food, but it's not an excuse,especially because of the sentence I quoted, they should have done their research better.


On more positive note, the book is quite inspiring, beautifully illustrated. I put sticky notes on all the pages of the recipes I want to try and it's quite a few. The first one I tried was very simple leek and cheese toastie, it didn't disappoint me, rather nice and I think it will be something I will make quite regularly from now on.

Not sure if I will ever try a pizza with beetroot though.

As I'm getting organic & local veg delivered, this book will be quite useful as every box delivered contains different veg, some of which not only have never eaten, I don't even know how they are called. I was flicking through the book and actually recognised one of the vegetables in this book. Educational!

I need to start preparing lunches rather than eating shop-bought sandwiches (such a waste of money but I'm lazy, so lazy), I hope I'll find something suitable in the book.
