So I finally saw Frankenstein (Johnny Lee Miller as the creature). Where do I start?
Why did I go to see this version? Simple- the other one was sold out.
It was absolutely amazing and it actually exceeded my expectations. All the effort they put in the staging, wow, I just can imagine how good it was seeing it live. Many times I felt sorry for the creature, I was grossed out too, but there were funny moments as well.
You can see a bit of Sherlock in Victor, which I enjoyed, obviously.
My BF expected it to be absolutely boring and he planned to either sleep or play with his mobile, but he did neither, he thoroughly enjoyed it, he said he would love to see how Cumberbatch played the creature. I would love to see it too, so I really hope NT will release a DVD.

quality of my life could be improved instantly if:
- summer would finally come to England.
- I would fine a nice flat to rent
- panasonic would reduce the price of lumix lenses
- I would see Cumberbatch in a play. live. yes.
This is the best idea I've seen this week.

I'm a such stupid stupid girl.
Only now I made myself to book Frankstein tickets ( I am a procrastinator level 9999) and the version I wanted to see is sold out. OK fuck it, I'll see John Miller as the creature but WTF?? Is my town full of cumberbitches? It's great but fuck it's sold out. For everyone's sake or rather sanity, national theatre should release DVD.

It seems that I have hardly been home this week. Most of the days after work I went out with my friends. How much I enjoy our chats about cultural differences, how you don't even notice that you have changed, until you go home. For instance, my friend embarrassed herself by saying thank you to the bus driver. Everyone were like "why the hell you say thank you to the bus driver, you paid for the ticket, didn't you?". Oh and I had an awkward moment when my friend met her Spanish friend when we were leaving a pub and he wanted to greet me in a typical Spanish way which you can imagine is not the way I am used to be greeted and I pretty much stood back. obviously she started laughing and said: "no, no she's a foreigner". The situation became even more awkward when he just shook my hand instead.
Oh just can't wait for the reverse culture shock I'm going to experience when I finally visit my home country after probably two years, I don't even remember how long it's been. A lot of people don't think you can actually experience culture shock when you go back to your home country. I have been told, common, it's were you were born and bred, how can you experience culture shock when you come back? Well, these people probably haven't been away from their home country very long or haven't read my essay on reverse culture shock in the repatriation process, OK I don't consider myself a specialist, but I have first-hand experience and you know I researched the topic for my essay. Oh the good old uni days. Anyway, research shows the more you adapted to the country you migrated to, the harder it is when (if) you come back home.

On my 4th day off I went to Brighton by train with my significant other. It reminded me why I hate public transport- screaming and crying children. It makes me so maaaad. I'm astonished that parents never discipline their children and just let them do whatever. I wish supernanny was there to deal with them.
saw this and I thought: MUST HAVE THIS, so it's my second John Lennon shirt and I also have3 general The Beatles shirts. No, I'm not obsessed.
Typically it started raining.
(apologies for quality)
Had lunch at "our" new place. We used to go to this vegetarian place until it closed down unexpectedly, they had the nicest burgers ever. Now we eat at this other place with cheap buffet, nice pizzas and various salads. My SO loves it, which is great as he is a really fussy about his food, well I am a bit too.
I also got this dress, a pair of high waist skinny jeans and a DVD my SO chose. If no good it will go straight on amazon, as usual. I also bought School for Seduction the other day- mildly entertaining, going to sell it. Although I loved Kelly Brook's make up there.
back to work tomorrow but on the up side, only 3 days till weekend !!! :)
