It's only Tuesday but I'm exhausted. Yesterday I had to go up north for training, it takes 5 hours to get there so I had to get up at 4 am to catch the very first train. It was a session on social media. Even though it's not relevant to my role, I found it very interesting and rather useful. I could possibly apply some things I learnt to my blogging.
We finished a bit earlier but I had to wait an hour for my train, I was tired and I had a headache, at least on my way back I got to go first class (the ticket was very cheap). Never went first class before, so it was somewhat exciting. The carriage was very quiet, got offered drinks on several occasions (including alcohol, but I refrained from it), had lovely dinner (though rather small portion), but free food and drinks aside, there's not much else to it. I don't know what I was expecting. I came back home 10pm, it was a really long day so no wonder the next morning I felt really exhausted and a tad grumpy, 2 cups of tea and 1 cup of coffee away, I finally was myself again.
This reminds me of a song by the Beatles- I'm so tired

Listening to:
got this 3 CD set from amazon, free with my voucher from valuedopinions.co.uk. Slowly building my collection, now based on purchases amazon is suggesting me to buy Ella Fitzgerald's albums. I might, I like oldies.
Reading:
quite mind-blowing book. Chapter "I Me Lie" has been the most fascinating so far.
We all live at a slight lag from reality and tall people experience a slightly longer lag from reality than short people simply because the distance from toe to head is greater, which means the brain takes longer to check on all signals.
OK, I knew that. I think it was on QI.
Hard as it is to conceive of, some scientists think it likely that left and right hemispheres, speaking and mute, are each conscious entities in their own right, with their own thoughts and moods.
On totally unrelated topic, I was really surprised I didn't have to convince my BF to see Frankenstein NT live screening. Yay. Might invite some friends, if any of them are interested in theatre or BC.

For the record, I still hate animal print, I just loved their shape
I got this 3 CD set for £8, tbh, I only got it because I really like Sinnerman and I have never heard any other songs of her... but it's awesome, very enjoyable and relaxing. The third CD is actually a compilation of other artists from the same era, some heard before, some not. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

This is amazing piece featured in 28 Weeks later and Kickass. I just luuuhve it :)) Adagio in D minor, also by John Murphy, is worth listening too. I also discovered Hans Zimmer who has composed music for major films of the past few decades and it is goooood. I'll be listening to the best ones and pretending my life is a film.
By the way, 28 days later and 28 weeks later are really nice British movies. It is really 2 part zombie film, and although I'm not usually into this kinda thing, it is good. That reminds me Shaun of the Dead, which is also British film about zombies, but it is a comedy/parody. It stars one of my favourite British actors Simon Pegg.
