Sunday was such a nice day, sunshine, hardly any breeze. We went for a walk on the Downs. We only planned to walk to East Dean but then after having lunch there, we decided to go to Birling Gap, it was only one mile, so why not. We bought some ice cream and carried on to Beachy Head and then walked home. We ended up walking over 20km! I can't believe it myself now, but I still have somewhat sore muscles to remind me that we did in fact walked that far. I did not bring my camera, only had my phone, but I'm quite impressed with quality of pictures (except those that are zoomed in, those are potato quality). I'm glad I live near such a beautiful place. It almost makes up for Eastbourne being a rather boring place to live.
I hope next weekend we will have nice weather again and we will be able to do more walking. I would like to walk to Jevington and I will certainly take my camera with me.
