New flat- sneak peek

It's been 3 months since we moved into our new flat- cannot believe how quickly the time has passed! There is lots of white and I love it. We bought most of our furniture from Ikea and so far we have been very happy with them. He finally had our blinds installed and it feels very finished but there are few things that still missing- lamps, mirror in a bath and artwork- at the moment the walls are very bare. Nevertheless, it feels very homely and cosy.

Christmas in Germany

3rd year in a row I spent Christmas in Germany with my family. on Christmas eve I was hoping to go to Dusseldorf Christmas market but it was already closed, but you can find pictures from last year here. We did some shopping instead, had some gluchwein (mulled wine) and flammkuchen.

The rest of the week spent there I was mostly stuffing myself with food and spending time with family, including my very lovely cousins, the youngest one is only 9 months old.

We spotted this house in a neighbourhood, it looked wonderful.

Back to work tomorrow. It will be a struggle. I have spoiled myself with lots of sleep during my two weeks off and it will be hard to get back to the routine. The only consolation is that so will everyone else.

Christmas Wishlist

Forgive for saying I can't believe it's December already! Shops are flooded with all things Christmassy, people talking about wrapping Christmas presents already and I here I am, do not even have a proper Christmas tree, only bought secret santa presents for work so far and nothing else! Christmas shopping is absolute pain and I hope to do most on Amazon if possible but I am completely out of ideas. I made a go at making my Christmas wishlist but it is been hard to, the things I want most are sunshine rather than anything else.

Music Wednesday- Mazzy Star

I have been spending a lot of time studying for a management qualification that I'm doing at work, which is one of the many reasons I haven't been posting lately but I digress. When I study, I normally listen to classical music, it helps me focus, any other music distracts me. However, recently I discovered Mazzy Star- it is so chill and smooth, I can listen to it for hours without getting bored of it. I hope you'll enjoy it too
