Yum. This is a cake I got for my boyfriend's birthday. Obviously, I didn't do it myself, I bought it from Patisserie Valerie. Yes, their cakes are expensive, but they taste and look amazing. In UK, compared to my home country) have a very poor selection of cakes available to buy. In the supermarket, you can only get what I call "plastic cakes", loads of icing, dry and tasteless. Well, you should cakes in Lithuanian supermarkets... You'd be spoiled for choice. Of course, they do not look as impressive as cakes at Patisserie Valerie, however they're equally tasty and relatively cheap. I would fly home just for cakes and beaches on Curonian Spit. If only easyjet would fly to Lithuania...
