South Downs Way

Today we went for a walk on the South Downs. I want to do this regularly as part of my prep to climb Ben Nevis this September. We walked around 12km. The weather was quite moody, and as expected it was rather windy. The sunshine was lovely and I'm now sporting a red nose.
We planned to have lunch at the Beachy Head pub, however, we were warned it would take at least an hour for the food to arrive, so we decided to walk some more instead.
I'm so glad the we have the warmest months ahead of us and hopefully I will be spending a lot of time outside.
